IT & Networking Specialist
I am an IT and Networking specialist and lead the IT team at MB Healthcare Services Ltd.
My interest in IT was initially a pastime since secondary school and realised my passion to further my knowledge in this subject.
I have since accrued 7 years’ experience in the Healthcare setting and proud to say I was involved in setting up the IT service in my present position at MB Healthcare.
I am proud to say I have designed and implemented the network for MB Healthcare and I thoroughly enjoy working in IT, troubleshooting software, integrating different analysers and portals and hardware issues for all staff in the department, including maintenance of the LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems).
I am involved in implementing and monitoring the Kelsuis temperature monitoring system for the department, a key element in maintaining equipment to the specific temperature requirements.
I am also a certified first aider.
